Wake County Library Bond Vote on November 5

Wake County voters will have the chance to vote on a $142 million bond for Wake County Public Libraries on November 5. The proposed projects under the bond include:
- Establishing new community libraries in Rolesville and the Friendship area of Apex.
- Replacing the Athens Drive Community Library in Raleigh and the Wendell Community Library.
- Constructing a new facility aimed at addressing digital equity and serving underserved populations.
- Expanding the Town of Fuquay-Varina Community Library into a regional library.
- Renovating several libraries including the Express Library on Fayetteville Street, Green Road Community Library, Leesville Community Library, Library Administration Building, Northeast Regional Library, Richard B. Harrison Community Library, Southeast Regional Library in Garner, and Zebulon Community Library.
