San José City College celebrates ribbon-cutting for Career Education Complex

San José City College celebrated the official ribbon-cutting of the Career Education Complex on Tuesday night. The campus said the CEC has been open since January with about 140 course sections in session.

The complex includes specialized labs, a medical simulation center, an innovation lab, a 124-seat auditorium and one-touch media studios, all under one roof in San José.

The inaugural members of the SJCC President's Circle sponsored the event and supported new student scholarships: Gold — JGM; Silver — Flint Construction and Steinberg Hart; Bronze — CB Management Group and Plaza de Jennings Chipman LLP.

The college thanked everyone who joined the celebration and thanked San José voters who supported the project through Measure X.
