In Jacksonville, Florida, the local sheriff's office is ramping up efforts to ensure safety in school zones. Traffic Officer Kristy Monroe is leading the charge, focusing on reducing speeding, distracted driving, and red-light violations. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office reported that there have been 130 traffic fatalities in the area this year, highlighting the need for both enforcement and education on traffic safety.
