City of Bend Marks 100 Years With Water Tips
The City of Bend posted an announcement celebrating 100 years of Bend’s water and encouraged residents to conserve water at home.
In the post, the city said one way to conserve water is to check sprinklers to make sure they are not over spraying and to cut down watering time by 2 minutes a day.
The city asked residents to share at-home water-saving efforts by snapping a photo and submitting it for a chance to win prizes. The submission link was provided at https://www.bendoregon.gov/departments/public-works/water-services/celebrate-water/.
The post concluded by saying residents should help keep Bend’s water strong for the next 100 years.
