Bend Chamber thanks supporters for sold-out Biz & Bevs
The Bend Chamber of Commerce said it held a sold-out “Biz & Bevs” event at Miller Lumber, and thanked people who attended for networking and building connections.
In a Facebook post shared June 16, 2026, the chamber thanked its event host, QXO, for opening its doors and providing what it called a unique venue. It also credited Deschutes Brewery, Tumalo Cider Co, and AlpenGlow Adventure Catering for helping make the evening memorable.
The chamber also thanked its featured nonprofit, the Alzheimer’s Association Oregon Chapter, and noted presenting sponsor Kernutt Stokes. It listed community sponsors BBSI and OnPoint Community Credit Union as additional supporters.
The chamber said it hopes to see people back in the fall for its next Biz & Bevs event and wished everyone a wonderful summer.

Bend-La Pine Schools says the Education Center will stay open during summer. Summer hours begin Monday, June 22, running Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

City of Bend Marks 100 Years With Water Tips
The City of Bend urged residents to conserve water by checking sprinkler settings and reducing watering time by 2 minutes a day. It also invited residents to submit photos of their at-home water-saving efforts for a chance to win prizes.
