Friendship Village Tempe marked National Gardeners Week in a community post on Thursday.

The post says Friendship Village Tempe backs up to the Friendship Evergreen Community Garden, calling it one of the most active and well-loved gardens in Tempe. It adds that residents and neighbors grow items including herbs and sunflowers, and that the garden is an extension of the Village community.

The post describes the space as a “beautiful green treasure” located in the Village’s backyard.
