Atlanta Kicks Off FIFA Fan Festival for 2026
The City of Atlanta said it officially kicked off the Atlanta FIFA Fan Festival in Downtown Atlanta, welcoming fans from around the world.
The city described the start of “weeks of celebration, culture, and excitement,” tied to the FIFA World Cup 2026. It said the countdown continues with the first match in Atlanta scheduled for four days after the announcement.
Atlanta said the festival includes fan experiences, international cuisine, live entertainment, and community activations planned throughout the tournament.
