Peekskill Farmers Market to Add New Vendors Saturday
The City of Peekskill said the Peekskill Farmers Market will feature new vendors and returning favorites this Saturday, June 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
New vendors listed for the market include Bash Catering/Kimarbri's Ginger Delights, offering ginger juices, pastas, chicken, and red velvet cake. Shop Good Juice will sell natural juices, and the featured weekly vendor is Earth Tone Farm.
Earth Tone Farm’s offerings listed for the week include small root vegetables such as purple daikon, watermelon radish, carrots, and beets, along with herbs mint, lavender, basil, cilantro, and shiso. The post also lists cherry tomatoes, Swiss chard, kale, organic coffee, baked goods, and wine.
The post said returning vendors will offer farm-fresh produce, artisan breads, baked goods, cheeses, pickles, hummus, handmade soaps, candles, jewelry, specialty foods, and more. Returning vendors named include Farm to Village, G&M Family Farm, Greystreet Gourmet, Irvington Delight, Joey's Market, Meredith's Bread, Picklelicious, Rooted In Me Natural Products, Spring Roll Supper Club, Sweet Francesca, and Trinkets & Treasures.
People attending are also invited to stop by the Peekskill Conservation Advisory Council to learn about local sustainability initiatives.
The City of Peekskill said the market runs through Nov. 21.
