Westchester County parks department wins four awards

The Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation said it has earned four distinguished honors from two leading parks and recreation organizations.

The department said the awards recognize its leadership, innovation and commitment to serving residents throughout Westchester County. It congratulated former Commissioner Kathy O'Connor, Recreation Director Kevin Cook, Acting Commissioner Peter Tartaglia and the Lasdon Public Gardens team.
