Peekskill's 2024 Paving Program Starts October 10th

The City of Peekskill, New York, has announced that its 2024 Paving Program will begin on Thursday, October 10th. The project is expected to last for six weeks and will involve lane and street closures on various streets throughout the city.

The streets affected include Montross Avenue, Brown Street (from Elizabeth to James), Elm Street (from Maple to Wells), Vail Avenue, Pomeroy Avenue (from Hudson to Elm Street), Summit Avenue, James Street (from Brown Street to Main Street), Pemart Avenue (Dead End Section), Prospect Avenue, Magnolia Avenue, Mountain View Road, South Street (Select Sections), Howard Street (from High to Broad), Second Street, Requa Street (from South Street to Railroad), Railroad Avenue (from Auto Body to Requa), and Smith Street (from Hudson to South Street).

Residents are advised to plan accordingly for potential delays in these areas.
