The Peekskill City School District has announced several upcoming events for the community. Dr. Mauricio has shared a weekly message, which can be accessed [here](https://bit.ly/4fx3rce).

The second Saturday Academy of the school year is scheduled for November 16 from 10 AM to 1 PM at Peekskill Middle School. This event will feature food basket and gift card giveaways, along with crafts, games, and participation from community partners.

Additionally, the Garden Club of Peekskill will host the first Peekskill Garlic Festival. Woodside and Peekskill Middle School gardens will be included as stops on the walking tour during the festival. Community members are encouraged to participate in the activities.
