October Workshops Support Families at Resource Center

The Family Resource Center is offering several workshops in October aimed at supporting families in the community.

The "Raising A Reader" workshop will take place on Wednesdays, October 9th and 23rd from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. This program is designed to help families develop literacy skills and foster a love for reading in children ages 0-3.

English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays, including October 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, and 31, running from 9:30 AM to noon. The classes are open to anyone looking to improve their English skills.

Additionally, a Special Education PTO (SEPTO) meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 16th, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. This virtual meeting will allow parents of children with special needs to connect with other parents, learn advocacy skills, and access information on available resources.
