NYSAC Fall Seminar Highlights Leadership Transition

Staff Report / Albanylocal.org

The Albany County Executive has concluded a year-long term as the President of the New York State Association of Counties (NYSAC). This milestone was marked by the organization’s fall seminar, which featured over 20 workshops, standing committees, affiliate meetings, and plenary sessions focused on local issues and initiatives. During the year, the association participated in various activities, including a notable trip to the Texas border to discuss immigration with colleagues from the National Association of Counties (NACo).

At the fall conference, Ben Boykin, a legislator from Westchester County, was sworn in as NYSAC's 80th president. The event included numerous photographs capturing the proceedings.
