Wake County to Start Free SUN Meals in Zebulon

Wake County Government said summer SUN Meals will begin in the Town of Zebulon with free meals for children and teens under 18 on Monday.

The kickoff event is scheduled for Monday, June 15 at noon at Wakefield Missionary Baptist Church, 809 Proctor St., Zebulon. Wake County said families can also expect face painting, games and crafts, a fire truck, and a chance to meet Ray, the SUN Meals mascot, for photos.

Wake County also directed residents to find other summer meal sites at wake.gov/summer-food.
