Peekskill Volunteer Fire posted that Columbian Engine Company No. 1 held a 200th Anniversary Dinner this past Saturday.

The post thanked the invited guests and company members who attended and gave a special thank you to Deputy Chief Lenny Varella for working with Cortlandt Colonial Restaurant in preparation for the event. It said Cortlandt Colonial staff “did an outstanding job.”

The post also expressed disappointment that the City of Peekskill, which the company said it served for 200 years, did not acknowledge the event.
