**Applications Now Open for the 2nd District Business Interruption Fund**

The Second District Business Interruption Fund (BIF) is now accepting applications. This fund is backed by LA County Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell and is administered by the LA County Department of Economic Opportunity. It offers grants of up to $10,000 to support qualified small businesses that have suffered significant business interruptions in the past year, specifically between October 7, 2023, and October 7, 2024.

Eligible applicants must be brick-and-mortar businesses located in the 2nd District of Los Angeles County. The fund aims to assist those who have faced uncompensated losses due to natural disasters, construction projects, or other disruptions.

The deadline to submit an application is November 7, 2024, at 5:00 PM. Interested business owners can find more information and apply at bit.ly/SecondDistrictBIF.
