Therapy Pets and Reading Time for Adults Event

The Santa Clarita Public Library is hosting an event at the Valencia Branch on Monday, October 21, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. This session is designed for adults with disabilities and their coaches or caregivers. Attendees will have the chance to meet and interact with a variety of therapy pets. Each participant will spend time with every pet present.
In addition to the pet interactions, participants are encouraged to enjoy a relaxing reading time. They can bring their favorite book or select one from the library's collection, which will be available on a table near the door. For those who would like assistance, Jazz or one of the library volunteers will be available to read aloud to the group.
